Speech - Language Pathologist, Certified ASL-English Provider
Laine Fisher-Gayle graduated with her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. in 2011. Since then she has continued to work in both the medical and educational fields. She has worked with individuals of all ages (from toddlers to geriatric), targeting skills related to articulation, language, social skills, cognition, swallowing, and voice.
Laine believes that a client’s family and support system is vital in increasing skills learned through therapy. She is bilingual in English and American Sign Language (ASL). Laine is trained in Visual Phonics and has taken leadership roles, including training and mentoring coworkers in bilingual strategies for D/HH. Laine holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and her license through the Oregon Board of Examiners. She is an active member and board member of the Oregon Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Originally from the Midwest, Laine loves exploring all that the PNW has to offer – the mountains, the coast, and everything in between. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, dancing, DIY-ing, and spending time with family and friends.
