Our Staff Daniel Rhoads, MS, CCC-SLP

Speech - Language Pathologist, McMinnville's Clinic Director

Daniel Rhoads, M.S., CCC-SLP is a board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist, and Certified Autism Specialist, who holds his master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Portland State University. After separating honorably from the U.S. Navy, he graduated Cum Laude with his B.A. in 2013. He completed his Master’s degree in 2015. Daniel has served on the Oregon Speech-Language Hearing Association (OSHA) since July of 2019 as the Region 1 Representative. He is currently serving as the Clinic Director of Sensible Rehab McMinnville in McMinnville, OR.

Daniel is the parent of two amazing kids. One of which was diagnosed with “Moderate-Severe” Autism at the age of 2 1/2. His lived experiences raising his son have fueled his passion to develop realistic interventions which parents can perform in daily routines. He believes that all children with challenging behavior can learn to love play, and can develop their social skills through traditional “hands-on” (non-electric) play. His clinical play-based interventions are engaging, practical, and highly effective in developing underlying executive functions required for the learning of speech and language.

Daniel’s clinical specialties include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Executive Function, Cognition, Early Language Development, Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC), and Social Communication Disorders
