Sam is originally from San Diego, California but ventured to Oregon to peruse her undergraduate degree. Sam attended and graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2020. Following her undergraduate degree, she received her license and certification to be an Occupational Therapy Assistant after graduating from St. Catherine University in Minnesota. During school, Sam worked as a Direct Support Professional for adolescents in group homes with behavioral and intellectual disabilities which fueled her passion for occupational therapy. From personal and professional experience, Sam is passionate about working with those from all walks of life, but is especially interested in working with patients on the autism spectrum.
In her free time, Sam enjoys walking her dog, snuggling her cat, strength training, traveling, cooking and reading.
