Occupational Therapist

Kayla graduated from Clarkson University in 2018 where she received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She holds her license as an occupational therapist through the Oregon Occupational Therapy Licensing Board and is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Kayla received significant training through her fieldwork experience in a public school and most recently in a pediatric outpatient clinic including sensory processing needs, fine motor strengthening and development, Handwriting Without Tears, social skills training, visual perceptual/motor impairments, feeding intervention, and many other areas within occupational therapy. Kayla’s favorite thing about being an occupational therapist is the client/family therapeutic relationship and strives to provide meaningful intervention that targets the family’s goals. Kayla enjoys working with children of all ages and all backgrounds of disability/impairment.

In her free time Kayla enjoys baking, karaoke, beach trips, attending concerts and musicals, and playing softball with friends and family.
