Our Staff Emily Akins, M.S., CF-SLP
Emily (Emmy) graduated with her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ in 2022. She has clinical experience in targeting skills related to cognition, aphasia, apraxia of speech, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), articulation/phonology, language, voice, and social skills and enjoys working with school-aged to geriatric clients. She has worked with people on the autism spectrum targeting things like social-pragmatic skills and the use of AAC. She has always had a passion for helping others and is looking forward to creating connections and providing access to communication for all of her clients. Outside of work, Emmy loves hanging out with her cats, reading, baking, photography, and going on hikes.
